Immediate Release: March 30, 2010 VESTAL,
N.Y.-- Senior Meghan Lawler scored four goals and added three
assists to lead Colgate to a 15-8 win over Binghamton (0-7, 0-1
AE) in a non-conference women's lacrosse game on Tuesday afternoon
at the Bearcats Sports Complex. Colgate began the second half with a three goal run before Castiglie would score with 23:45 left in the game. However the Raiders would keep peppering in goals and kept the Bearcats from stringing together a solid run. Junior midfielder Beth Moore scored three goals in the second half and sophomore Leah Smith added a goal. For the game, Castigle scored three goals and added an assist. Colgate
converted 2-4 free position shots while Binghamton scored on
one of nine attempts. Binghamton outshot the Raiders 31-27 including
17-14 in the first half. |
