Edmonston steps aside as Binghamton women's lacrosse head coach
Bearcats' coach accepts administrative role for the final year of her contract

VESTAL, N.Y. -- Emily Edmonston, who has been the Binghamton University women's lacrosse head coach since 2005, has stepped aside to take over an administrative role for the final year of her contract. The athletic department will begin a national search for her replacement immediately.

Edmonston is the second coach in Binghamton's six-year women's lacrosse history. She replaced Sue Frost, who coached the squad from 2002-04.
