Immediate Release: November 26, 2005 GUILDERLAND, N.Y. - At the Northeast Duals, held at Guilderland High School, Binghamton dropped three matches. The Bearcats were defeated by Ohio (48-6), Pitt-Johnstown (52-0) and Sacred Heart (45-6). Freshmen Nate Patterson (Ontario, N.Y.) and Chris Klucka (Vestal, N.Y.) earned wins against Colonial Athletic Association member Sacred Heart. Patterson raised his team-best dual record to 4-2 with a 7-1 decision at 149 pounds. He remained unbeaten in CAA matches (3-0) and improved to 8-6 overall. Klucka scored a 4-2 decision at 157 for his first dual win of the season. The Bearcats were forced to give away forfeits at 141, 165, 184, 197 and heavyweight (30 total points), which made all three match scores more lopsided. Binghamton won two of five matches against Sacred Heart. The Bearcats return to action next Sunday at the Penn State Open. |
