Release: February 1, 2009 WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Host American won eight of 10 matches to pin a 27-8 loss on Binghamton (9-12) Sunday afternoon. Junior 184-pound Josh Patterson, ranked No. 8 in the country by USA Today/Intermat, collected a 27-11 technical fall over Anthony Fuschino, improving to 33-4 overall, 19-2 in duals. In three seasons, Patterson is 50-8 in dual matches. Sophomore 125-pound Tyler Malmberg picked up BU's other win with a 7-3 decision over Thomas Williams. Binghamton
takes on Boston University and Lycoming next Sunday in Albany. |
