BU wrestling topples CAA foe Boston University and Lycoming
Bearcats beat Terriers 18-16, defeat Lycoming 31-3

CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. -- Host Binghamton (11-12) posted a pair of wins Saturday afternoon from Shenendehowa High School. The Bearcats beat Lycoming 31-3 after edging CAA foe Boston University 18-16.

Junior 184-pound Josh Patterson, ranked No. 8 in the country by USA Today/Intermat, moved up a weight class and handled Boston's John Hall, 7-2. Patterson raised his record to 34-4 overall, 20-2 in duals.

Sophomore 125-pound Tyler Malmberg and freshman 149-pound Justin Lister each went 2-0.

Binghamton hosts Sacred Heart Wednesday at 7 p.m. at West Gym.
