Immediate Release: February 4, 2011 FAIRFAX, Va. -- Binghamton wrestling (12-6) won eight of the 10 bouts to defeat CAA foe George Mason 34-7 Friday night from the RAC Gym. The Bearcats, who earlier in the day dropped a narrow 25-16 decision at 18th-ranked American, snapped a three-match losing skid and improved to 4-0 against conference opponents. Already ahead 12-4, BU rattled off four straight major decisions from 157 to 184 pounds to pull away. Junior 157-pound Matt Kaylor posted an 18-10 major to lift his record to 23-8 overall, 14-4 in duals. He had eight takedowns and 2:42 of riding time in his match. Junior 165-pound Justin Lister rolled to a 13-4 win for his 11th dual victory and senior 174-pound Ryan McGarity earned a 12-3 major to even his dual record at 9-9. Sophomore 184-pound John Paris gave nationally-ranked teammate Nate Schiedel a rest and posted a 16-3 win. Paris is 5-1 in duals. Senior heavyweight Dan Bittner posted a third-period pin for his first dual win of the season. Sophomore seventh-ranked 149-pounder Donnie Vinson rebounded from his first dual loss of the season earlier in the day to score an 8-6 decision. Vinson improved to 17-1 in duals, which is currently tied for the highest dual win percentage (.944) in BU's Division I era. Binghamton wrestles at Bloomsburg on February 10. Binghamton
