BU wrestling falls at No. 19 Hofstra 37-3
No. 6 Patterson improves to 19-2 with decision at 184 pounds

HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. -- Host Hofstra (3-1, 1-0 CAA) rattled off nine straight wins and extended its conference unbeaten string to 61 matches with a 37-3 win over Binghamton (5-5, 0-1 CAA) in a Colonial Athletic Association wrestling match Friday night from the Mack Sports Complex.

Junior 184-pound Josh Patterson, ranked No. 6 in the country by Amateur Wrestling News, provided BU's only points with a 4-2 decision over Ben Clymer. Patterson raised his season record to 19-2.

Binghamton takes on Princeton, Delaware State and Merchant Marine Academy in a tri-meet Saturday at Princeton.
