Binghamton wrestling wins two of three at Ithaca Duals
Bearcats topple Mercyhurst, Ithaca, lose to Eastern Michigan

ITHACA, N.Y. -- Binghamton wrestling (9-10) won two of three matches at the Ithaca Duals Saturday. The Bearcats dropped their opening match, 31-6, to Eastern Michigan. Binghamton then toppled the host Bombers, 21-12, and Mercyhurst, 25-13.

Senior 149-pound Kyle Fried (Rock Hill, N.Y.) and sophomore 174-pound Josh Patterson (Ontario, N.Y.) each went 3-0. Fried, ranked 19th in the country, improved to 11-1 on the season. Patterson is now 9-2 in duals and 12-3 overall.

Binghamton next compete at East Stroudsburg on February 8.
