Placed second at the Navy Classic
Had six consecutive dual match wins
Was a preseason all-conference all-freshman team selection and also ranked fifth in his weight class
27 wins were the second highest single season total in the schools Division 1 era, highest by a D1 rookie
16 dual wins tie the record for most ever in D1
His three technical falls also tie a single season record.

2006 New York State Section V Class A Tournament Champion at 171 lbs
Senior High School National Champion
Placed third at the state high school championship as a junior (160 lbs.) and went on to win the NHSCA Junior National Tournament in Cleveland
Ranked first in New York and seventh nationally among 171-pound seniors by Wrestling USA magazine
