Bearcats rally past North Carolina; Patterson wins all four matches

TROY, N.Y. -- Binghamton wrestling (4-2) won three of four matches at the Journeymen/Asics Northeast Duals, held Saturday at Hudson Valley Community College. The Bearcats opened with a 27-11 loss to ninth-ranked Nebraska before defeating Appalachian State (28-16), North Carolina (18-16) and Northern Colorado (28-14).

Senior 184-pound Josh Patterson went undefeated in four matches. Ranked ninth in the latest Intermat rankings, Patterson recorded a pin, technical fall and major decision and is now 9-1 this season. He improved to 59-8 all-time in duals.
