BU wrestling drops dual at Penn 24-13
Bearcats fall short without several starters

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. -- Host Penn (4-2) won seven of 10 bouts to defeat Binghamton wrestling (7-4 ) Saturday afternoon at The Palestra. The Bearcats wrestled without several banged up starters, including 16th-ranked senior 184-pound Josh Patterson and freshman 149-pound Donnie Vinson.

Junior 141-pound Anwar Goeres raised his record to 20-5 overall, 8-2 in duals with a 3-1 sudden victory decision over Zack Kemmerer. Also winning for BU were freshman 184-pound Nate Schiedel and junior heavyweight Corey Waite. Schiedel improved to 12-3 overall, 9-1 in duals with a pin in 4:13. Waite earned a 14-6 major decision and is now 23-10, 8-3 duals.

Binghamton next competes in the CAA Duals next Saturday at George Mason.
