Release: November 22, 2009 VESTAL, N.Y. -- Binghamton (1-1) wrestling opened its dual meet season with a split of duals on Sunday afternoon at the West Gym. The Journeymen Sprawl & Brawl featured 20 matches between 14 schools and the Bearcats lost to nationally 24th-ranked Michigan State 20-12 and defeated Davidson 50-0. Binghamton was competing without senior All-American 184-pound Josh Patterson, who is in California competing at the NWCA All-Star Classic. Junior 141-pound Anwar Goeres went 2-0 with a pin, as did sophomore 157-pound Justin Lister and redshirt-freshman Nate Schiedel at 184 pounds. Binghamton heads to Clifton Park for the Northeast Duals next Saturday. There, the Bearcats will face No. 7 Nebraska, Northern Colorado, North Carolina and Appalachian State. No.
