Then with 90 seconds remaining in the first overtime sophomore Tricia Reed (Oswego, N.Y.) crossed the ball to junior forward Kelly Burnham (Endicott, N.Y.), who shot the ball, it was deflected to the feet of White who put the ball in the back of the net to win the game for Binghamton.
it is good to get a win under our belt," head coach Jeff
Leightman said. "LIU is a good team and they showed it today.
In the first half we made some mental errors but in the second
half we started to take over the game. I was quite pleased the
way we responded from the first half."
