VESTAL, N.Y. - Senior striker Tracy Kasmarcik (Binghamton, N.Y./Susquehanna Valley) scored an unassisted goal in the first half, leading Binghamton (3-1) to a 1-0 win over St. Bonaventure (2-2) on Sunday afternoon at West Gym Field. It marked the Bearcats' third straight shutout victory, their longest such string since 1999.

Kasmarcik got a loose ball at midfield, dribbled it for 20 yards and then fired a long range shot behind St. Bonaventure goalkeeper Lisa Eberhart with 13:29 elapsed in the game. Binghamton outshot the Bonnies 20-8, but had two other goals disallowed when it was called offsides.

"We did some nice things today," head coach Jeff Leightman said. "We attacked the ball well but our ability to finish wasn't what we hoped. We let it get ugly at times and St. Bonaventure played their style for most of the second half."

Freshman keeper Kristie Bowers (Rochester, N.Y.) recorded four saves for her third straight shutout.

Binghamton will host St. Peter's on Friday at 4 p.m.
