BU women's soccer drops a 1-0 decision at St. Joseph's

Box Score

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Freshman Ali Woziak found the net in the 51st minute to lead St. Joseph's (1-1-0) to a 1-0 win over visiting Binghamton (0-2-0) 1-0 in a women's soccer contest Sunday afternoon.

"It was a much better performance by our team overall compared to Friday's Delaware game," head coach Sarah McClellan said. "I was pleased with our effort and organization. We will build upon this game and are moving in the right direction as we prepare for our conference schedule."

Woziak netted the game-winner after collecting a rebound when teammate Taylor Carr's shot hit the post.

Kat Kelble made one save to post the shutout for the Hawks.

St. Joseph's outshot Binghamton 21-6 in the game.

The Bearcats will play their third straight road match Friday at Cornell.
