Women's tennis falls to Cornell 6-1
Junior Emma Leibowicz tallied lone win for Bearcats

ITHACA, N.Y. -- Binghamton (1-2) fell to the Cornell Big Red, 6-1, in a dual match Saturday afternoon at the Reis Tennis Center.

Seniors Anna Edelman and Yulia Smirnova teamed for an 8-3 triumph at first doubles. However, Cornell notched the doubles point by posting wins at second and third doubles.

The Bearcats struggled in the singles portion of the match, dropping five of the six matches. Junior Emma Leibowicz improved to 13-6 in singles play this season on the strength of a win at sixth singles.

Binghamton travels to Bucknell for a 1 p.m. dual match Sunday.
