ITHACA, N.Y.-- Binghamton concluded its stay at the Cornell Winter
Invitational on Sunday morning by competing in three main draw
finals.
Junior Anna Edelman lost in the B singles finals to Kira
Golenko of Buffalo 2-6, 6-2, 6-1. In the A Doubles finals, sophmore
Jillian Santos and junior Lauren Bates fell to
the team of Denise Harijanto and Aleskandra Petrova of Buffalo
8-1. Junior Yulia Smirnova and sophomore Emma Leibowicz
were defeated in the B Doubles finals by Golenko and Anna
Subenkova of Buffalo 8-5.
Smirnova went on to win the consolation singles draw.
Binghamton heads to West Point for three dual matches next weekend,
starting with Seton Hall on Friday at 5 p.m.
