tennis falls to host Dartmouth 6-1

Anna Edelman was a straight-set winner at first singles
HANOVER, N.H. -- Dartmouth
College (6-4) rolled to a 6-1 decision over visiting Binghamton
(2-4) in a dual match Saturday afternoon. The Big Green opened
the spring season with a No. 60 national ranking.
The host squad captured the doubles point following triumphs
at first and third doubles by Molly Scott/Melissa Matsuoka and
Jeri Reichel/Christina Danosi. Juniors Marina
Bykovskaya and Emma Leibowicz
teamed for an 8-6 win at second doubles.
In singles play, senior Anna Edelman
continued her dominance at first singles this season with a straight-set
victory over No. 122 Molly Scott.
Dartmouth managed to sweep the rest of the singles matches en
route to the 6-1 decision.
Binghamton continues its Ivy League stretch with a dual match
against Penn on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
