Binghamton women's tennis opens conference play with 7-0 win over Hartford

WEST HARTFORD, Conn. -- The Binghamton women's tennis team (7-1, 1-0 AE) shook off its 14-day layoff with a 7-0 win at Hartford (0-6, 0-1 AE) in its first America East Conference match of the season. The Bearcats won all six singles matches and swept the three doubles matches. In total, Binghamton dropped just three games over the nine total matches.

The Bearcats face a stiff test on Sunday at 9 a.m. at Quinnipiac.
