Binghamton women's tennis loses to Harvard 5-2


CAMBRIDGE, Mass.-- Host Harvard (2-3) swept the doubles point and won four of six singles matches to beat Binghamton (5-2) 5-2 in a women's tennis dual match on Sunday. The loss snaps the Bearcats' four-match winning streak.

Freshman Jillian Santos defeated Camille Jania 1-6, 6-2, 7-6 (4) at second singles and sophomore Yulia Smirnova won her match at third singles against Samantha Rosekrans 6-3, 6-4.

Binghamton faces Bucknell on Sunday, March 1 at St. Bonaventure at 10 a.m.
