Bearcats
shutout by Pennsylvania PHILADELPHIA, Pa.--In their second match of the weekend in Philadelphia, the Bearcats (3-3) were shutout by Pennsylvania, 7-0. The Quakers are ranked 39th in the nation, and won all six singles matches and three doubles matches in straight sets. For the second straight day, freshman Justina Hakimi (Manhasset, N.Y.) played at #1 singles, dropping a 6-4, 6-0 decision. Also, freshman Jenilee Brohm (Norcross, Ga.) made her singles debut for Binghamton, playing at the #6 spot. Brohm lost a 6-2, 6-2 decision to her Penn opponent. The Bearcats will return to action next weekend for road matches against Princeton (Saturday at 1 p.m.) and Rutgers (Sunday at 1 p.m.). COMPLETE RESULTS SINGLES #1 - Nicole Ptak (P) def.
