Immediate Release: April 3, 2004 Freshman Melis Altinay (Antalya, Turkey) posted her fourth straight win - a 6-0, 6-0 triumph at No. 1 singles. She raised her team-best overall record to 12-7, including 6-3 in duals. At number two, freshman Lya Kushnirovich (Brooklyn, N.Y.) earned a 6-2, 6-3 victory and senior Janine Sadaka (Great Neck, N.Y.) posted a 6-2, 6-2 win at the third spot. The Wildcats won at the bottom three singles positions, and had already captured the doubles point with a sweep of the three matches. Weather permitting, Binghamton next hosts Fairfield Sunday morning at 11 a.m. on the West Gym Courts.
