Women's cross country team hits their stride at 42nd Annual UAlbany Invitational

ALBANY, N.Y. - Senior Jamie Schulte found a solid rhythm while highlighting the Binghamton Cross Country women's team performance at the 42nd Annual University at Albany Invitational. The women placed fourth out of 24 teams.

Schulte finished 20th out of 196 runners in the women's race, completing the 5,000 meter course in a time of (18:33.9). She was followed by sophomore Ashley Horton who finished 23rd (18:38.2), freshman Ryann Cretney who placed 43rd (18:57.3), sophomore Alicia Finger coming in 50th (19:04.6) and senior Jennifer Hastings who finished 52nd with a time of 19:06.8.

Brown took the team title, with their top runner, sophomore Kelsey Ramsey finishing with a time of 17:42.1. Brown finished with seven runners in the top-ten.

The Bearcats will race next on Saturday Nov. 1st at the America East Championships.
