Women place fifth out of 20 teams, men 11th of 17th
BRONX, N.Y.--Junior Stacy Kramer (Loudonville, N.Y.) concluded her outstanding season with a second-place finish at the ECAC Cross Country Championship, highlighting Binghamton's final meet of the season. The women ended the season with a fifth-place finish out of 20 competing teams at the ECAC meet while the men's team was 11th of 17 teams at the IC4A race.
Kramer's time of 18:22 for the 5K course was 22 seconds off the lead but it was still the fastest time and place ever recorded by a Binghamton runner at the ECAC meet. She earned All-ECAC honors to go along with her America East All-Conference honors three weeks ago. Fellow junior Allison Furey (Smyrna, N.Y.) was the women's second runner, finishing 27th (19:22)
Junior Prahlad Genung (Afton, N.Y.) was the men's top finisher at the IC4A Championship, placing 62nd with a time of 27:24 for the five-mile course.
